Writing Practice as an Anchor during Trying Times- Teens Group
The practice of writing, from a mindfulness approach, can serve as an inner compass that brings us home to ourselves, in all kinds of weather. Participants will be introduced to writing as a mindfulness practice, consisting of sitting, writing, reading, and listening. Attendees will be guided to "keep your hand moving" through several topics, and will be invited to alternately share, and then to deeply listen, without comment or critique. (Writing as a mindfulness practice was developed by author, painter, and poet Natalie Goldberg.)
Please bring a notebook or journal and a pen or pencil to write with.
