Meditation

Meditation is a practice of mindfulness, or a focusing of one’s mind. It helps build attention and awareness to enhance mental clarity and emotional regulation. For some, it is a spiritual practice.

Meditation is an ancient practice that deepens our connection to our inner
selves. Taking time for pause through meditation can be highly beneficial.
Meditation is available to everyone and is not limited to sitting in silence; it
comes in various forms based on individual preferences. This practice
helps us go beyond ordinary thoughts and connects us to our inner peace.

Caitlin Peterson takes a heart-centered approach to life, guiding others in processing emotions, diffusing triggers, and embodying personal alignment. She believes life isn’t about having it all figured out, but about trusting the full self—mind, body, and soul—to enjoy the journey and recognize the next step that feels truly full. Certified in hypnotherapy, Warrior Goddess training, and other mindfulness-based, trauma-informed modalities, she is passionate about helping individuals and couples dream up a life of purpose, joy, and sustained resilience, gearing up with the tools and honing the skills to navigate life’s adventures as they come.

Sarah Spagnola Young, LCSW

Sarah combines mindfulness-based techniques with CBT to address life’s challenges. She focuses on sports performance, grief, depression, and life transitions with an emphasis on the mind-body connection. Her integrative approach helps clients become more present, grounded, and resilient in a relaxed and nonjudgmental space.

We are a comprehensive, adherent DBT practice for teens, adults, and high-conflict families, and also offer other evidence-based therapies such as Prolonged Exposure for Trauma and Exposure and Ritual Prevention for OCD.
